Netanyahu:
'August-September elections highly likely' 
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asked his advisors to explore the possibility of holding August elections and is leaning towards this option, Ynet has learned. Senior Likud officials said that August elections were highly likely, based on recent talks between coalition elements. Others mentioned September as a possible date for the next national elections. This would mean that Likud primaries will take place in June. Jerusalem Post poll:
Most Israelis support US-led Iran strike 
An overwhelming majority of Israelis would support America leading an international consortium of air forces in a military strike on Iran if sanctions and diplomatic talks do not work, according to a Smith Research poll sponsored by The Jerusalem Post. The results of the poll were announced by Post editor-in-chief Steve Linde at the Jerusalem Post Conference Sunday in New York. The poll of 500 respondents representing a statistical sample of the adult population in Israel was taken last week and had a had a 4.5 percent margin of error. The poll found that 72% would back an international strike, while
just 14% would oppose it, and 14% did not express an opinion. When asked whether they supported Israel taking action if the US declined, support was much lower. Only 45% said they would back an Israeli strike, 40% opposed it, and 15% had no opinion Saudi official urges Gulf unity to confront Iran Saudi Arabia's deputy foreign minister says Gulf Arab states must seek full integration of key affairs such as diplomacy and defense to counter perceived threats including Iran's nuclear ambitions and Arab Spring spillover. Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah's comments highlight strong Saudi support for
unity efforts among the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council. The Western-allied bloc has increasingly discussed closer coordination to battle Arab Spring-inspired opposition and confront regional rival Iran. Last year, a Saudi-led military force came to the aid of Bahrain's embattled monarchy against an ongoing uprising by the country's Shiite majority.
